About the Doctor
Steven F. Rodgers, DDS, a native of Warrick County, received his bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1985. After obtaining his graduate degree at the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1989, he continued there with postdoctoral studies and received his Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1993. Dr. Rodgers began private practice in his hometown in 1994.
Dr. Rodgers is a certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He has written many articles on the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His articles have been published in leading professional publications including Journal of the Indiana Dental Association, Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology Journal, The Journal of Craniofacial Surgery, and Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Rodgers has taught Head and Neck Anatomy, as well as Oral Pathology courses for the University of Southern Indiana Dental Hygiene Program. He is serving on the Peer Review Board for Dental Health Options Insurance Company and has served on the School Board for Evansville Christian School.
About the Staff
All staff members are certified in CPR for the professional rescuer and are required to attend annual OSHA seminars in order to stay up to date on the newest infection control standards. Front office staff members attend coding conferences sponsored by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons to learn the latest in coding guidelines, patient rights and responsibilities, and insurance fraud prevention.
